These are some of the first illustrations from the book I am producing aimed at educating children aged around 10 years old on famous historical figures. Recent studies show that many children of this age are unfamiliar with many of these figures and their achievements or reasons for notoriety. A survey of science knowledge revealed that one in 10 children thinks the Queen invented the telephone, while others believed it to be the invention of Charles Darwin or Noel Edmonds. This is proof that they need to be educated on such things, and in a fun and interactive manner that keeps them interested and adopts teaching methods of facial recognition and alphabetical formatting that are successful in teaching much younger children.

V & A Illustration Awards 2009: 'The Metrosexual vs. The Recession'

These are the two illustrations I've submitted for the V & A Museum's 2010 student illustrator awards. They're based on true experiences of being an impoverished student with no money for two months. Baldness did not occur though.

Characterisation Project

These are a few of the outcomes from my recent ongoing project based on actualising characters from people's imagined descriptions. The idea is to build up a whole catalogue of between 50 - 100, so watch this space!

Kings and Queenex

These are my designs for the Kleenex Cube competition. The basic gist is that even royalty need something to catch their snot in from time to time.
